Adaptive Riding focuses on teaching riding skills to those ages 5 and older with diverse cognitive, physical, intellectual, learning, and social-emotional challenges. Professional riding instructors and trained volunteers work with riders to develop their independent equestrian skills that carry over to improve their daily life functioning. While learning specific riding skills, riders will play games on horseback, maneuver through an obstacle course, or challenge their skills with a trail ride. Benefits include:
